Lauren Collins
Director, Safety Policy
Lauren Collins joined the Alliance for Automotive Innovation in June 2024 as Director of Safety Policy. Prior to joining, she was a Lead Transportation Systems Engineer at The MITRE Corporation. Previously, she spent nearly 20 years as a contractor providing engineering, regulatory, and policy development support to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Office of Rulemaking, where she specialized in vehicle crashworthiness and crash avoidance systems. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
